Also this video explaining the spacial impossibilities present in the set construction of The Shining. This video largely argues that it’s all part of Kubrick’s master plan, which definitely plays into his control-freak status. Not sure if it wasn’t just a cool side effect for some corner cutting. Either way, neat!
